Why Are We Here?
This web site is here for YOU who want to get involved, who want to take a beginning step, toward coming to someone in prison (by writing first), in a partial fulfillment of Matthew 25:36-40.
There is a great joy in receiving a letter back from someone in prison who tells you how your letter to them (even a short one) helped to make their week! You can not only do another person a world of good, but you may be surprised at how wonderful their response can be for you -- just when you may need a lift yourself.
After you have written to someone whose name you find here in these pages and received a response, I hope that you will e-mail me and tell me about it.
Or, if you need help in getting information about how to contact a prison in your area, or if you have suggestions for making this kind of program work better, you are welcome to write and receive a personal response.
