by writing someone in prison today!
A short one-page letter can do wonders to encourage someone who is confined inside prison walls and to a cell.
Here are a couple addresses -- and check back. You will find a sample letter to help you if need some prompting.
It's really quite simple, ask God to guide you in writing a little bit about something you've done recently. And, then ask him to tell you about himself. You may want to enclose a sheet of blank paper and a self-addressed, stamped envelope for his reply.
(On first writing - and for a long time thereafter - it is usually not well received to ask what an inmate did to get incarcerated. Almost anything else, with foremost discretion, is fine any time)
